DISNEYLAND!!! (aka "Mickey Mouses House")

We had a great time at Disneyland (or what Cason calls, "Mickey Mouses House!") We went with our friends Josh and Sufia and their daughter, Tabytha. It was truly magical for the children - and I have to say, I think it's pretty magical myself.
The highlights were...
Elisa loved "It's a Small World"
Cason loved getting to meet Mickey Mouse (they had a bonding moment)
and we all loved the candy, popcorn, ice cream...It was a full day as we were there for a solid 10 hours!!(No naps at Disneyland)We all had a great time -It was a day I know we won't soon forget!

Palm Springs Mini VaCa

We recently had some plumbing problems that forced us out of our house and into a hotel for a few days. We decided to take the opportunity to take a mini vacation to Plam Springs (because it's hot and sunny there!) We had a great time swimming, playing, eating, relaxing...it was perfect timing and just what we needed (the Lord always seems to know just the right way to bless His children) Cason and Elisa are both little water rats - in the pool by day and the hot tub at night. Elisa absolutely LOVES Big Bird and when we were shopping around, we came across this little ride and she was thrilled! As my dad (Granpa Paulie) would say, "A good time was had by all"

Big Wheel Fun!!

Cason and Elisa are really enjoying playing together these days. We just celebrated birthdays for both of them, Cason turned three and Elisa turned one. Cason is still pretty sure that presents should be arriving daily for him and was convinced that Elisa wouldn't mind if he took ownership of her gifts as well. Thankfully, at this point she is too young to really care (we'll see how that goes over next year...) We're planning on taking them to Chuck E. Cheese's pretty soon to have a belated celebration and they are so excited! They're getting so big, so fast and we're trying to enjoy them each day...what a blessing.
